Under ‘Other’, Punch reports activities that do not belong in any of the two operating divisions (Graphix and Telematix).

This relates mainly to pure holding activities, the group’s IT activities and the BBS brand. In addition, this division also accommodates those subsidiaries that are currently not sufficiently large to become independent, but in which the group sees an important potential. At present, this refers to SpaceChecker, a Belgian telematics company specialising in satellite navigation which was acquired in February 2006 and Ieper Business Park.

Point-IT nv coordinates all IT activities of the group. Experienced teams of professionals also provide services to third parties. The infrastructure team supports data centre, system administration and helpdesk activities as well as managing infrastructure projects. The ERP team supports helpdesk activities as well as implementing small and large ERP projects, offering extensive expertise in SAP R3, SAP BW, SAP CRM and Baan IV. 

SpaceChecker nv is a European market leader in the area of satellite technology-based total solutions for tracking & tracing of goods and vehicles.  SpaceChecker’s technology is distinguished from that of other players by the fact that data traffic does not run via a GSM or GPRS network, but via a geostationary satellite network with an extensive range. In other words, tracking and tracing is also possible in areas with no or limited GSM or GPRS coverage. The technology is currently available for Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and South-East Asia. The technology platform is fundamentally different from that of Punch Telematix. This explains why SpaceChecker is held as a separate subsidiary.

Ieper Business Park comprises state-of-the-art real estate for letting, consisting of 18 individual 2-floor modules of 550m² each and one main 3-floor building of 8,000 m².
